The only thing you need to do is adjust the headband, and then the shade of the welding filter, or grinding filter if that is the mode being used. The filters cover shades 9 to 13 for welding and shades 5-9 for grinding.
The helmet also benefits from the provision of lugs to hold magnifying lenses in place via a special lens holder. (all at extra cost)
